Who’s idea
was it to support McBusted? Did you suggest it or did they (James Bourne) want you to do it?
I’d say that it was a mutual decision! We’ve all gotten really close with James since Chris joined our band 2 years ago & we are all huge huge fans of McFly & Busted, so when James asked us to do the tour, we jumped at it immediately!
What can fans expect from your support slot on the McBusted arena tour?
You can expect an extremely high energy set! Our favourite part of being in the band is our live shows. We kinda look like we all chug 10 red bulls before we go on stage. We’ve never done anything nearly as big as this tour so we’re a bit nervous, but excited to smash it & show everyone what we’ve got!
If people don’t know you (yet), how would you describe your sound/music style?
It used to be way more pop, but since we started writing & producing our own music, it’s gone in a WAY more rock direction. We’ll be playing all new music from our EP, which is going to be out in time for the tour. Just really upbeat, catchy pop rock music! I really think you guys are gonna dig it.
Do you plan to do a headline tour of the UK? If so, when can fans expect those tickets to go on sale?
Definitely will be, following the McBusted tour. We really want any fans that like us on the tour to get the chance to see us play a full headlining set & come out & meet/hang out with us! No details for the tour yet, but just keep checking our Twitter’s.
How would you describe your individual personalities, to new fans?
Hmm! Well I’m from Maryland (Dan), Chris is from London, Cam is from DC & Tyler is from New York… We’re just 4 kids from all different places that in the craziest way ever, met & are just trying to chase this dream of being in this band! Chris is like the most insane kid you’ll ever meet (you’ll realize this within 30 seconds of seeing him on stage). Cam is like the serious responsible one, we always call him our band mom… *Laughs*. Sorry, Cam! I’m the youngest so I guess everyone just kinda treats me as the baby in the band. Tyler’s just like a big ball of energy, he gets everyone going & gets us all hyped. We’re all totally different from each other but at the same time we’ve all become best friends. I couldn’t imagine being in a band without these guys!
What are your dreams/aims/goals for 2014, other than a successful McBusted tour?
Our goal really is to get as many people as possible to hear our new music & tour everywhere we possibly can! We’re currently on our headlining tour in the US & immediately following that, we’re finishing our EP & then heading over to do the McBusted tour. It’s already shaping up to be a great year & we couldn’t be more excited about it >>
